| Such troubles as vibration of turbine, seizure of bearing metal, malfunction of governor valve and erosion on turbine blade, etc. are mainly caused by the improper installation of turbine, unsuitable piping and drains in the steam. So, it is most important to provide a drain separator at the turbine inlet and provide at least three bends for the inlet steam pipe line and expansion joint for the turbine exhaust to avoid undue force to the turbine. |
